BANDAS CRAZY RYTHM

CRAZY CAVAN & THE RYTHM ROCKERS - Desde Gales (UK),son los grandes abanderados del sonido british rockabilly.La banda nació en 1968 bajo el nombre de Count Dracula & The Vampires,y ya bajo el nombre de Crazy Cavan & The Rythm Rockers editaron en Rockhouse su primer disco "Crazy Rythm" en 1975,al que le continuaron en Charly discos como "Rockabillity","Our own way of rockin'","Live at the Rainbow" y "Still Crazy",consiguiendo un contrato después en el sello francés Big Beat dónde editaron "Cool & Crazy Rockabilly","Hey Teenager" y "Rollin' through thenight"...aparte del directo desde el Pickets Lock,el Rockabilly InParis o el recopilatorio de sus primeros años "The Way It Was".En este periodo formarian junto a Breathless y Freddie "Finger's" Leeel espectaculo Rockin' 80's,y en 1989 editaron eldisco "Rough,Tough 'n' Ready",al que han seguido "It's Wild It'sWeird It's Crazy" y "Rythm Rockin' Blues"...en el escenario tendremosel espectaculo de Cavan Grogan,Lyndon Needs,Vance Vincent,Mike Coffey y Terry Walley.

BREATHLESS -La banda estaba formada en la década de los 80 por Patrick y Colin Grogan (hermanos de Crazy Cavan),IanHaines,Colin "Eddie" Edwards y Rob Davies, y vuelven a la carga estavez con tres miembros originales,ya que Edwards falleció hace 3 años y Colin Grogan dejaba la banda hace un tiempo.La banda editó en Big Beat dos trabajos "Bad Bad Boys" y "TwilightZone" y formó parte del espectáculo Rockin' 80's con Crazy Cavan & The Rythm Rockers y Freddie Finger's Lee,además de formar parte de laformación Saddle Tramps que editaron un Lp con Welcome Records deAlfonso Cito.Tras varios años de separación,y el fallecimiento de un componente,Patrick Grogan reformó la banda y vuelven a hacer giras.

SANDY FORD - Lider de los Flying Saucers desde hace más de 30 años,con discos como "Planet of the Drapes" o "Keep on comin'"...sigue liderando una formación que ha sufrido cambios con los años,esta vez estará al contrabajo su esposa.

THE ROCKIN' DADDYS - Desde St Ettiene (Francia),sonido teddy boy rock and roll.

FOGGY MOUNTAIN ROCKERS - La banda alemana nacia en 1993 y han actuado en numerosos festivales. Power Teddy Boy Rock & Roll.

RONNIE NIGHTINGALE & THE HAYDOCKS - La banda holandesa vuelve al escenario del festival por aclamación popular,una banda con más de 25 años de existencia.Demoledores en el escenario

PHIL HALEY & HIS COMMENTS - Auténticos clones de Bill Haley & His Comets,en el repertorio llevan temas de estos y propios.Han editado para la compañia australiana Preston Records

LOS DALTON - Desde Villarreal,Castellón,la banda lleva muchos años sobre los escenarios

Janis Martin

Janis Martin ha muerto de cáncer a los 67 años.

Nacida en 1940 en Sutherlin (Virginia),empezaría a cantar muy joven y en 1956 fue contratada por RCA dónde grabaría temas como "My boy Elvis","Drugstore Rock & Roll","Let's elope baby","Blues keep callin'",""Will You Willyum","Bang Bang","Cracker Jack"...etc.

Descanse en paz.

A todos nos quedará el recuerdo de su actuación en el Screamin' 2006.
