THE PEPPER POTS-VALENCIA-SALA MIRROR-14 DE NOVIEMBRE

The Pepper Pots traen a Valencia uno de los sonidos soul más puros del panorama musical español con su tercer álbum ‘Now!’.
En este trabajo han dado un giro de la música jamaicana en la que se apoyaron en sus anteriores discos a una onda soul mucho más madura.
Para ello se han valido de la experiencia del productor norteamericano Binky Griptite, guitarrista de las reinas del soul Amy Winehouse y Sharon Jones, que ha producido el álbum y es autor de varias de sus canciones.

Tras más de diez años de carrera tras sus espaldas, la formación catalana escuda su sonido soul en la utilización de arreglos, acordes y melodías más complejas que en sus anteriores trabajos. Todo un conjunto de esfuerzos que desembocan en un disco con la esencia del mejor soul heredado de la Motown
El disco ha sido grabado entre Manhattan y Cataluña, mezclado en Brooklyn y masterizado en los estudios Trutone Mastering Labs de Nueva York. Tras doscientas actuaciones haciendo vibrar a públicos tan dispares como Tokio, San Francisco, Los Ángeles, Berlín, París, Londres o Barcelona llegan a Valencia

La mitica banda valenciana de los 60 en la sala Black Note (Polo i Peyrolon 15) el martes 22 de diciembre.

Los Milos se convirtieron en LOS TOP-SON.
Tras grabar unos pocos temas con Bruno Lomas como "Twist a Maria Amparo" se convirtieron en un quinteto, para muchos el mejor grupo que jamás haya existido en el levante español.
Grabaron temas como "Despeinada" o "Jersey azul" para disolverse unos pocos años después.

Los próximos 10,11 y 12 de diciembre tendrá la nueva edición del Rockin' Rumble,que durante tres dias consecutivos trae a la sala Black Note de Valencia a tres bandas,dos españolas y una británica,Los Twangs,Charlie Hightone & The Rock-It's y los Revolutionaires,de la mano de Quique Lledó y su programa La sal de la tierra (Radio Funny Valencia 105.3 Fm)

Los Twangs:La banda de Zaragoza sorprende con esa explosiva combinación de surf,beat,frat-rock.
Tienen editados dos trabajos hasta la fecha,"Quienes son los Twangs" y "Mondo Twango" (edición vinilo-cd ya agotada,en Sleazy Records) y preparan un nuevo Ep en el sello malagueño "Christmas Beat!"

Charlie Hightone & The Rock-It's : Iván Vela lidera esta formación con componentes de distintos grupos,con un rockabilly limpio y enérgico,la banda la forman además Ricardo a la guitarra,Juan a la bateria,Emilio a la guitarra y Conde al contrabajo.
Practican puro 50’s rockabilly influenciados por los grandes artistas que desfilaron por los estudios de Sun Records, Capitol, Decca, etc.
Tras su album de debut en Sleazy Records,"Rock-It,Man,Rock-It",la banda publicó dos EP'S en Sleazy Records,un primero con cuatro temas como "Booze Booze Booze","You don't care","Dead end track" o el "We did" de Herb & Kay,con Lola Massey de Hi-Way Ramblers,y el último,un doble EP de titulo "Made It Ma,Top Of The World" con ocho canciones,"Don't get around me","No está bien","Why did you lie to me" y "Your lovin' Robin Hood" en el primer EP y "Made It Ma,Top Of The World","Hidden tattoo","Hot rhythm" y "Old John's Farm" en el segundo

The Revolutionaires:La banda británica está influenciada por el rnb de los 40's y 50's,influencias de Louis Jordan,Roy Brown o Chuck Berry mismamente.
Han editado hasta la fecha tres discos,"Shout It Out","All revved up" y "Route 66"
La banda la forman Ed Stephenson (voz y guitarra),Rich Stephenson (Contrabajo) ,Gary Hoole (saxo) y Mark Matthews (batería).

Sus trabajos están repletos de abundantes versiones de clásicos de Chuck Berry,The Robins,Little Richard,Fats Domino,Moon Mullican,Hank Williams,Eddie Bo,Jimmy Williams,Ray Charles,Jackie Brenston,...una banda con una buena puesta en escena,versiones de clásicos del rock and roll y el rnb...el dia 12 los veremos en Black Note.
